Some of our documented SEO results landed inside a 28-day window. Others describe six months of work before the movement was worth reporting. Both are normal and the difference is predictable.
What predicts it is not effort. It is how much of the problem was technical, with already-earned authority being wasted, versus authority that had to be built from nothing.
The fast ones
The bakery engagement records clicks up 28.8% with impressions rising inside a single 28-day window. That is genuinely fast, and it is the kind of result that gets used dishonestly in sales decks, so it is worth saying plainly why it happened.1
Fast SEO results almost always mean the same thing: the site already had authority it was not collecting. The pages existed, the business was known, and something mechanical was in the way. Thin titles, a crawl problem, pages competing with each other for one term. Removing an obstruction is quick. Building authority is not.
The slow ones, and what they bought
The cleaning services engagement describes six months of work lifting clicks 43.6% and click-through rate from 0.3% to 0.5%. That last figure is the interesting one and it is why the work took six months: moving click-through rate means the listings themselves changed, not just their position.2
